Keep Bot List Top safe and helpful for everyone. Follow these guidelines when you submit or maintain a bot listing. Our service is completely free, and moderation relies on information that is already public.

Submission Checklist
  • Provide an accurate description and up-to-date invite link.
  • Ensure the bot complies with Discord Terms of Service and developer policies.
  • Use a safe listing avatar and avoid misleading branding.
  • Disclose premium or donation features in the long description.
Community Standards
  • No hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behaviour.
  • Spam, self-bots, and malicious payloads are removed immediately.
  • Respect user privacy. Public data is fine; private data is never allowed.
  • Respond promptly if moderators reach out for clarification.
Quality Expectations
  • Keep the bot online and stable. Offline bots may be delisted.
  • Offer clear documentation or a support server for users.
  • Only request permissions that the bot genuinely needs.
  • Regularly update your listing so users know what to expect.

Moderation Process

Moderator reviews rely entirely on public metadata, server reports, and automated checks. If we cannot verify that your bot is compliant, we will pause the listing and reach out for more context.

  1. Initial screening: automated checks review permissions, invite scopes, and branding.
  2. Manual review: a moderator inspects descriptions, tags, and external links.
  3. Approval or feedback: you receive an email or Discord message if changes are required.
  4. Ongoing monitoring: community reports and periodic audits keep the catalogue healthy.

Certified Bots

Certified listings showcase the best experiences on the platform. To qualify, maintain a consistently positive reputation, respond to user feedback, and provide a reliable support channel. Certification remains free and is entirely merit-based.

Monetisation & Premium

When premium API features launch, they will be optional and billed as a single subscription managed by Stripe. You can continue listing and using the public API without paying anything.
